We will pick you up at your hotel in Cusco between 5:30 and 6:00 a.m. to start our adventure towards the Mountain of 7 Colors or Rainbow Mountain. So we will go on a 3-hour trip by tourist transport through the picturesque Andean towns such as Oropesa, Andahuaylillas and Urcos until we reach the beginning of the hike, which is located around 4600 meters above sea level. This is where we will begin a hike of around 1 hour and 30 minutes to the top of the Mountain of 7 Colors.
Along the way, observe the diverse Andean fauna and flora, including South American camelids and birds.
Enjoy free time to capture memorable photos of this magical place and admire its vibrant colors. We will descend from the mountain to enjoy our box lunch and return to Cusco, arriving at approximately 5:00 p.m.

May to July are the coldest months in Cusco. The sun is strong during the day at this time, but it can be very cold once it goes down or if you are in the shade. At night, the temperature sometimes drops below zero, so warm clothing is essential in these months.
Between May and October is a good time, as it is the dry season, so you won’t get wet. However, the best month of the entire year is October. The weather is suitable and the sky is usually very clear. In addition, it is not the busiest season, so it is not overrun with visitors.
There is a one-day alternative that starts early in the morning and offers you transportation that takes you to the Ollantaytambo train and then to Aguas Calientes. Afterwards, you’ll enjoy the morning at Machu Picchu before heading down for lunch, relaxing a bit or walking around the town, and then the train and transportation back to Cusco.
